This sudoku has multiple rules on different parts of the
grid
Please read carefully
Inside
clues
- 50-50 Killer/MinMax Killer: In Boxes 2 and 8, there is a cage
with a number in the corner of the Cage. One box will follow MinMax Killer
Sudoku rules, and the other box will follow Killer Sudoku rules
- Killer Sudoku rules: Number on the top-left of a
cage indicates the sum of the numbers inside the cage. Numbers cannot
repeat inside a cage
- MinMax Killer Sudoku rules: Number on the top-left of a
cage indicates the sum of the minimum and maximum numbers inside the
cage. Numbers cannot repeat inside a cage
- 50-50 Kropki-XV: In Boxes 3 and 7, some black
dots and white dots are given. One box will follow Kropki Sudoku rules,
and the other box will follow XV Sudoku rules.
- Kropki Sudoku rules: White dots indicate that the
two adjacent numbers differ by 1. Black dots indicate that one number is
half of the other adjacent number.
- XV Sudoku rules: White dots indicate that the
two adjacent numbers sum to 5. Black dots indicate that the two adjacent
numbers sum to 10
- 50-50 Renban-Palindrome: There are two grey lines
given. One line will follow Palindrome Sudoku rules and the other line
will follow Renban Sudoku rules
- Palindrome Sudoku rules: Numbers on the line read
the same from both directions
- Renban Sudoku rules: Numbers on the line form a
set of distinct consecutive digits
- 50-50 Quadro: In Box 9, there are two black
dots given. Exactly one of them will follow Quadro Sudoku rule and the
other will follow Anti-Quadro Sudoku rules
- Quadro Sudoku rules: Numbers around the black dot
cannot contain all cells with same parity
- Anti-Quadro Sudoku rules: Numbers around the black dot
contain all cells with same parity
- 50-50 Odd Even: In Box 5, there are four symbols
given. Two of these will follow Odd Sudoku rule and the other two will
follow Even Sudoku rules
- Odd Sudoku: Cells with the symbol should
contain odd digits
- Even Sudoku: Cells with the symbol
should contain even digits
- 50-50Arrow Sudoku/Thermo: There are two Thermos
given.one will follow thermo sudoku rules and the other will follow Arrow
sudoku rules
- Arrow Sudoku: The number in the circle is
the sum of the numbers along the line/arrow
- Thermo Sudoku: The numbers will be in increasing
order from the bulb till the other end of the thermometer
- Coded Sudoku: There are some code is given. Each
code will be replaced by different number
Outside
clues
- Little Killer Sudoku: The numbers given at the top
and bottom of the grid (with an arrow) is the sum of the digits in all
cells in the direction of the arrow
- 50-50 Frame/Serbian Frame: Regarding the other top and
bottom outside clues, one side will follow Serbian Frame Sudoku rules and
the other side will follow Frame Sudoku rules
- Frame Sudoku rules: Number outside is the sum
of the first three numbers from that direction)
- Serbian Frame Sudoku rules: Number given outside is the
sum of the 3rd and 4th numbers from that direction
- 50-50 X-Sums/Outside: Regarding the clues on the
left side of the grid, two of them will follow X-Sums Sudoku rules and
other two will follow Outside Sudoku rules
- X-Sums Sudoku rules: Number outside is the sum
of the first X numbers from that direction, where X is the digit in the
first cell from that direction. Consider the clue as a two-digit number
- Outside Sudoku rules: Number given outside should
come in the first three cells from that direction. The two digits are
considered as separate digits, and not a two-digit number
- Three is a crowd Sudoku: On the right side of the grid, there are three numbers given against each row. Out of the three numbers, exactly two numbers should come in the first three cells from that direction, and the third (eliminated) number should not come in the first three cells. The eliminated numbers in the nine rows should be all different
Very nice! Was easy enough once I got the start using three is a crowd and the 3rd box.

ReplyDelete27:04, lovely Sudoku. Took ages (~15 minutes) to get the start. It was easy after that. I think many of the clues could be reduced but were given for symmetry.
